Carousel Basics

What is Carousel?

Carousel is a platform that powers co-ownership of the world's most coveted handbags. We match members in groups of 2, 3, and 4 to split the cost of and share a bag evenly.

How does co-ownership work?

When you purchase a share of a bag, you become a co-owner alongside other members. Each co-owner has equal rights to use the bag based on a shared schedule.

What happens if I want to leave?

You can sell your share back to Carousel or transfer it to another member. We'll help facilitate the process.

Pilot Program

What is the Pilot Program?

The Pilot Program is our initial collection of handbags available for co-ownership. This round is available on a first-come first-serve basis to co-owners in NYC.

How do I reserve a bag?

Click the "Reserve" button on any bag you're interested in and fill out the reservation form. Reservations are non-binding and don't guarantee availability.

What ownership options are available?

You can choose to own 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4 of a bag. Each option has different pricing and usage rights.

Usage & Scheduling

How do I schedule time with my bag?

Once you're matched with co-owners, you'll receive access to our scheduling platform where you can book time slots to use the bag.

How long can I keep the bag?

Usage periods vary based on your ownership share. 1/2 owners typically get longer periods, while 1/4 owners get shorter, more frequent access.

Pricing & Payment

What does the price include?

The price includes your share of the bag, authentication, insurance, and access to our platform. There are no additional monthly fees.

When do I pay?

Payment is due once your reservation is confirmed and you're matched with co-owners.
